Oh man, Jan, ... We have had amazing times in server controlling, coding & programming, supporting [MPF] communities as well as modding & playing various games for years, nearly for 16 years all together. It has all begun with the early APB Alpha and IRC, right? You have had worked hard and done so well with and within this community. You had been one of the most friendliest people on this world I have ever met ... In real life as well as into the virtual reality! Those are 2 completely different worlds. A massive respect to you. There are such less brilliant people like you on this damned planet and now you have passed away. This world has lost a great soul. The best of the best always goes first. So sad but true. I know that you have loved and helped your family at all costs, especially when you have become uncle years ago. I remember all of the wonderful and nice times we had together, every minute, since our 1st contact. You have had always helped me and trusted me, too. You've had been one of the best mentors I have ever had in my life. We had great times together, indeed. Backups... I have always saved everything between you and me. What had caused that rapid and unforeseen change [...] ? I don't get it on your end. Was it an accident? Was it love? [...] May you and your family stay in peace. You won't be forgotten! Hi Shaitan, Its the least we can do! You all we a very big part of Jan's life, to not fill in his friends about whats going on feels like letting him, and you all down. Thats not a option, but thank you very much! All you have sayed, and put out here, and beyond i know Jan would be so freaking proud... He did have friends, so much so and then some.. Thank you.

Hi Hunt, Ive spend several nights gaming with Jan, and trust me m8 he missed talking with you as well as he mentioned to me. But he knew RL stuff gets in the way sometimes.. that didnt mean You or any lost touch....all the posts here, the reactions of friends he treasured..trust me he knew, understood and didnt mind because thats life. Thank you very much for being his friend, the gaming nights i was there and you all on TS hahaha i wish I wish for all so much the very best, You all have been such a support, Words wont cut it, but thank you for being there for my brother. Hi all, We had a very nice service this afternoon, All of the family and lots of friends were there to pay their respect for Jan. Im glad to read so much of all of you, it means a lot to all of our family! hahah that coffee machine lol yeah it does have a ring to it That did carry him through many nights playing...almost crosseyed but not giving up to solve any or help any one who needed it. As for the expenses, all is covert. But thank you very much. Jan has made sure my mom is well taken care of, thats the person he was. Hehe, luckily we didnt get to much sleep lol, and spend a lot of time talking, playing games..you know quality time Without Jan there wouldnt be a Bol.com ..the amount of keyboards/mouse orderd would keep any Shop booming hahaha Im glad he got to know all of you, and have had a lot of good times! Today we put our brother to rest, but i hope and pray his infuence, good spirits will remain with us forever!! Hello, I am Sander, Jan's older brother. Its sad but true, i have to inform you all that my kid brother passed away last thursday. I want to thank you all for all the good times you all shared with him, as i know he enjoyed many hours with all of you! Jan will be cremated tomoorw 17th at 14:00 EU time at Cremation centre at the city Schagen , North Holland. I hope you will all remember him, and keep a place in your hearts. @trunkskgb Thank you very much. I've spend several nights gaming at my brothers during last few years. I've watched him develope, fix probs..with several profanity flying across his desk when fixes either didnt work or didnt do wich he wanted them to But he kept at it untill they did, when he encountered a issue he couldnt solve no of you were reluctant to help each other and fixed and build the most amazing maps. Hi all, I am Sander, Jan's older brother and i just wanted to say that im very gratefull for all the reply's about my brother sudden death. Its been a shock to us , but i also know he spend many hours..days..years with his friends on MPF Mp, RenX and more. I understand that it comes as a shock to you all as well. I know he really loved playing, talking laughing with you all and i want to thank you for all the good times you all shared with him. We dont know what really happend, was it an accident? was it intensional we will never know. All i know is that i love him and will miss him terrible as i can imagine you all will too. Thank you all again for all the good times you shared with him, and filled his life with joy and laughter. As Jan is no more i do hope you all will continue to have fun and share the good times, its hard to look any further but i really think he would have loved to see you all enjoy the game he loved so much. I'll see what I can find, but I don't think there's anything left that predates OmegaAOW. I used to have the old CTF and AOW maps and I really wish I could find them, but they're just too old. UltraAOW, CrazyCTF, ...that were good times with zunnie ❤️

No way..... Not zunnie... 😰. I only knew him online and still am devastated by those news and surely I'm not the only one, because anyone who knew him also knows what a great guy he was. He was kind, cheerful and very fun to talk to, sometimes for hours straight. He also was a person with no prejudices towards anyone, he trusted other people and gave them a chance to show what they can do and to become useful in the many communities he has created and led over the past many years. He trusted me too, and I thank him for that. Having been a part of Multiplayerforums was a lot of fun. Now I wish I've actually gone to the Nerherlands to meet him like I planned years ago... In the end I didn't, and wasn't around the community for the last years either so I don't know how he was lately. Do you people knwo how this happened? Did he have any troubles lately? R.I.P. zunnie, may you find peace forever! 😔

Rest in Peace bro.. I'll drink a coffee for you. You were the guy who led me - showed and taught me the ways of modding Renegade back when we were still a part of FM and MP. I owe you a great debt. Not only because of the modding stuff, but because you were a good friend and great guy. You were the only guy drinking more coffee than I did and still do. RIP Jan

When I woke up to all the notifications about this, I wasn't quite sure how to to take it. It just didn't seem real, I even checked to see if its april fools day or something. He was one of the greatest guys i've met, never witnessed him mad much. always helping, always doing anything he can, without thinking of himself. Truly was a great man. He'll be missed. I hope his family is ok, he always talked to me about his nieces he loved so much. May he rest in peace.

Hello, Im Sander, Jan (zunnie) older brother. If any would like to come to his funeral will be more then welcome. I know considering distances, many wont be able to. But the thought of all of you wanting to be there and show our brother how much he was loved is very much appriciated and will never be forgotten I hope and pray my brother has found his peace, and sipping some coffee with Gramps. Thank you all for caring, nice words, and support! It means a lot to us and will help a lot during this terrible period. Man dude, after all the times we had together since APB testing maps and really having fun on those co-op server, to developing. And modded TCW and grew from it, I really learned a lot from you man. Haven't been for you, I would be stuck to where to start coding from. You was the one who was very patient to me by teaching me these C++ codes, and now I have developed that mindset of what each part of codes do. Since I had left TCW for many years, you kept asking me to be back a developer for the game, and now this year, I was back. Now that everything was back to where it was, plus with new features, now you're gone. I waited for you to come back so we can make this mod grow some more, but the bad news came to me. Dam dude, R.I.P man. You'll always be remembered. Especially of how many people you really affected to really join servers to play these modded games and all.
