    MA_Bear_Island

    Bear Island is a map for C&C Renegade version 1.6 update 6+ made by Blazea58 and Jerad2142 with some assets purchased from Turbosquid. The goal is simple: kill bears for money… although, there might be a twist about 15 minutes in. The map is open world with over 20 objectives (some of which are hidden or have to be done in a certain time period or will be missed). Bear Island features 6 unique vehicles, over 7 different types of animals, a combined GDI and Nod team as well as a built in record and score system. Crappy half-baked backstory: Bear Rug Co. is San Casina’s main supplier of bear rugs and they have become quite reliant on us. Recently there were a series of bear maulings that have thinned out the worker pool, you have been hired to replace these workers to help get production back underway. Unfortunately, your first day is going to be extra stressful; the president of corporate America has arrived at the plant for an inspection and is currently underwhelmed at our production. We need you to head out there and start killing those bears as quickly as possible. There is a cabin to the North which will make a good forward base, now head out and kill those bears!

    C&C_The_Core

    In the center of the map there is a Center Node. When you repair this Node you capture it and it becomes yours. The enemy Core becomes vulnerable to attacks when this has been done. The Cores are not damageable unless your team owns the Center Node. There are Unreal Tournament 3 female announcements for most of the Node/Core events to let players know what to do. Inside the Barracks and Hand of Nod you can find a Terminal "Pickup Orb". When you press E here you will get the Orb weapon. This weapon can capture the Center Node in 1 shot from close range even if it is already teamed to the enemy. Most characters don't spawn with Timed C4 (minigunners, engineers and hotwires/technicians excepted) because it would be too easy to kill the Center Node then and too much C4 spam in that area. Use the Orb to insta-capture the Center Node. Havocs and Sakura's have a 2 bullet clip. Snipers have a 3 bullet clip. Rocket Weapons have their range decreased.
