How do I do that?

I don't know what changed between March and now, but I can now join MPF and SLA Co-Op! It could have been from one of the newest TT updates.

The entire server box was reinstalled a few weeks ago and everything re setup, no firewall blocks or bans that i/we know of.

I even tested the TTFS downloader myself and it was working.

 

 

It's definitely an issue on my end. I just don't know what's wrong.

Yeah, I tried it on Friday and also just now. Didn't work.

Reinstalling didn't help. I tried clicking "repair" in Origin and uninstalling and downloading manually.

You can join, just not download the ingame files right?  Sounds like your renegade install is busted

I tried it at home. I don't play this game at school because it's too addicting. I'll try reinstalling.

Any ideas? I'd like to get this figured out before I go back to school on Sunday.

I can join servers like RC Marathon and Sniper and St0rm that have the mission maps or Westwood maps. When I tried joining St0rm and TmX, it downloaded their versions of the original Westwood maps. I can't join sla or MPF. 

Update: I can't join the Sla Mutant Co-Op server either. I may only be able to join RenCorner.

I do have the latest scripts.

I can connect to every server but MPF.

Would manually downloading all of those files to my ttfs folder solve the problem? 

The issue is I can't always locate that folder when I look under "C:users/username" or search. Sometimes I can find it, most of the time I can't. One solution I saw for this issue is clearing the ttfs folder. I found a way to do this in the game and went into Multiplayer Practice to do it. Still can't connect to the server.

I couldn't find the appdata folder, so I went into the game and used the command "clearttfs". When I found the folder, I didn't see any files.  Right now MetroTS is downloading on RenCorner after clearing the ttfs. 

How do I run a traceroute?

This was so unexpected.. I didn't think I'd see "RIP Zunnie" in the server list this morning. Even though I never met him in person, he was such a nice guy. He has increased Renegade's longevity with his work. RIP and my prayers go out to his family and friends.

I'm just curious as to what "enable multi-parameter" means.

I hardly notice the lag at all. If there is any lag, I don't mind it. 

Create a blank file in your data folder called "always.dep."

Can't wait to try this out!
