That stinks. The overall color schemes are a nice change from the stock.

Will we be seeing any Project Westwood maps in the rotation? They are the vanilla maps, with some minor tweaks to them.

Rip Dethice. We played a lot of matches together over the years. You were a good dude. Has anyone tried finding other “Deth” members “aka
moonlight shakers”?
you will be missed ice!

This is just peachy!
Thanks Unstoppable for all the hard work you do for this game & community! -
Here is a small video I made that shows how to make a ladder in Renegade.
- Using RenX to design this (3ds is more stable, but for tutorial purposes, RenX)
- Recorded using OBS
A few things to remember, don't forget your collision settings (6:00 min in the video), when you export it, BE SURE to save it was a .w3d (10:00 min in the video) extension.
If you have any questions about this process, you may make them here.
PS: This is a rough example, and the sizing may not be what you desire, although a height of 30 is a close estimate to the height of the Obelisk of Light.

Keep them coming, the more people who see these videos, will come here and maybe even play on the server.

Shoot a clip for sneaking past the Obelisk at the rear tunnel access point on C&C Under.

I might actually be available for that. I hope it’s a good turnout. I will totally stream that if I can make it.

I think W3D viewer is a little glitchy because I have almost every texture there is, and mine still don’t always show.
Anyway, I believe the is a “texture” file in the mapper section of the downloads page that you would use for making maps. In this case, just unzip the files anywhere you want to, then open up your W3D viewer, and I think there is an option called “texture path” or something like that, and choose the folder where you just unzipped all those files. Then load up your map by selecting the W3D file from within the mix file. You’ll need XCC mixer (in downloads) to extract the W3D file from the mix file. For example, my map C&C Backstab.mix, has a file called “stab.w3d”. That’s the file I would open with the W3D viewer to get an overhead image. Hope this explains it.

I'll be happy to help if you have any questions.

I like Unreal Tournament, I have all the way up to UT3, but when Renegade-X was announced, I never had any desire to play it. I knew then, and I even said, it will never feel or play like Renegade. I'm surprised so many people played it, and still play it. It's just UT with Renegade stuff, that's all.

I don't care to play it.

@RoCkStAr Both myself and @Madeen played at UN for along time. We know/have 99% of those maps. Feel free to contact them still, but between myself and Madeen, we have them or can tell you what they are if you forget the name of map, and only remember parts of it. Just do your best to describe it, and I bet you one of us will figure it out.

Mr. Renegade Map Encyclopedia Extroidinare AT YOUR SERVICE! I’ve already begun collection overhead images (similar to the old Renhawk) and I’ve already uploaded many old maps with videos which I will link here soon. I’m also going to test how easy it can be for others to get overhead views as well, and will write something up for that. Keep ‘em comin’!

@Scopes You and your family have my deepest condolences. Zunnie/Jan taught me A LOT about creating maps for Renegade. I’m currently creating something in his honor that I will be placing in current project and future projects to come. I will make it available to download for everyone once I am finished. We miss him a lot!

Anyone who is going, please send along all the kind words from us at MPF. Especially myself, as I got to know him very well over the past 7 years. And if anyone from the family wants to talk about him or anything don't hesitate to send them my way.
I support this as well. It’s an odd feeling to know someone for such a long time online, but not in real life.

My very 1st map that I ever released was made entirely dedicated to zunnie. It has coffee pots, cups and even donuts! It’s very plain and mimics C&C Quick Draw.

He was a very selfless person. He helped me also with a ton of editing and mapping. He was testing my latest map with myself and unknown just a few days prior. This is still so shocking.

In my Halloween map, I made a banner dedicated to zunnie. I have one ready for my next map (snow themed, have to find the file too), and I'm trying to get one for Iron City currently, which I think today I finally thought of a good one. Next time my C&C Halloween 2014 map comes up, be sure to check out this banner! RIP man!

I did play it, but so long ago, I forget. It’s ok!
