We're proud of bringing another exciting technology to the Renegade community - MPF Renegade Map Viewer!
 
MPF Renegade Map Viewer is a web-based map/level previewing application to simulate C&C Renegade maps entirely on the browser without the need of the game, made with Unity. The application enables previewing maps in our map database (whether the download is available or not). It does so by loading all of the model files included in the map, completely on the browser, by downloading it from our TTFS. You can use it by clicking the "Preview" button to the left of the map name on the page body, and it is available for all maps in our map database. Go ahead and try it!

 

 
If you encounter a map that does not load, or does not have the terrain loaded, please report it to us by leaving a comment under the map or join our Discord to report the name of map.
 
Some notes:
Keep in mind that this application is by no means meant to load the maps in a way that it matches the in-game appearance precisely. It is just to give you an idea of the map. The application does NOT load the level data. It loads all model files in the map package. So, it may not be perfect on several maps. But loading level data is planned. Not all material types are (fully) supported. The appearance of meshes may not always reflect the in-game appearance. Mobile devices are not supported. (And option to Preview is hidden.)

A few things to remember, don't forget your collision settings (6:00 min in the video), when you export it, BE SURE to save it was a .w3d (10:00 min in the video) extension.

PS: This is a rough example, and the sizing may not be what you desire, although a height of 30 is a close estimate to the height of the Obelisk of Light.
 
 

Known him since beginning , played at N00bstories, RenCorner, Unrules, Jelly and MPF with him. Sad way to go, he was a classy.

Wow, so sad to hear this. I’ve known Wyld for along time. I still remember our first conversation back on UN Rules. I still have the in game screen shot. Sad that we have lost another friend. Rip my friend. 

We temporarily replaced the background photo with a cookie rain.

My wife battled Cervical Cancer for 2 years end result all female productive parts removed and then after 2 years find out it destroyed her left Kidney as well and that as well was removed and now we may be battling incoming affect with her liver being affected as well sigh I know how this works and I hate to hear about anyone being taken down by this visions and sometimes relentless disease. You and your friends family have our deepest condolences.

Shocking and very sad news.
 
I met Wyld many years ago back in the UN days. He taught me a lot on how to find a cheat back then. He is a tuff guy, but always joked about cookies.

Too many losses in this small community we have. RIP old friend.

I have been trying to contact Wyld over the last few months in various ways with no luck.  He was a private person and let me know a few years ago his name and we met and hung out a few years ago.
 
Since I have had no contact, i've been searching for news,  Unfortunately im saddened to say I found he has passed away back in February.
 
Many did not know but he had been fighting cancer for a few years.  It seems the cancer was just too much.

Out of respect I will not put any personal details out there, I did contact his wife and confirmed, and she would rather it be kept private.
 
We've lost another hell of a friend. R.I.P Wyld you crazy old fucker...

Not even 2 hours ago I was in-game reminiscing about stuff when I thought about him. I know he had a habit of playing under smurfs and assumed he was still around.

I suppose if I were to be around IRC at all I would've noticed his absence.
 
These are absolute shitty times, especially recently but it feels like its been going on for a while now. Feels like last week we got news of zunnie. Countless celebrities recently, this covid-19 business, ugh.
 
RIP to Wyld1. RIP to all we have lost in Renegade. You will be missed.
