is there no low quality graphics version? tbh this is one of my concerns.. a lot of fps seem designed for playstyles that involve long periods of camping around corners and waiting for opportunities.. this gives CPUs  time to cool down since nothing much really happens while you're staying still. but my playstyle is the direct opposite.. constantly running around at high speed and dying and exploding .. so my cpu overheats stupidly fast.

Minimum:

  • Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista
  • 2.0+ GHz processor
  • 2 GB system RAM
  • SM3-compatible video card
  • 4 GB free hard drive space (may vary from the closed betas)

what i would recommend:

  • windows 7
  • 2.5+ GHz multicore possessor (at least Intel i3 2100 or AMD FX 4100) (core2duo or phenom II would work too)
  • 4 GB+ system RAM
  • dx11 graphics card (at leastNvidia gtx 460 or AMD 6870 graphics card) not that you will be using dx11 with RenegadeX
  • 4 GB free hard drive space (may vary from the closed betas)

I'm just going to put this link out there for those with computer issues:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227507

I use this model personally. It runs Renegade-X on maximum settings no problem and only costs $700.

Only thing is you need to watch it constantly if you want one. It goes in and out of stock rapidly.

After I got mine, a few days later it was out, a couple more days and it was back. So just keep an eye on it and buy as soon as they get some in.
