Popular Post &Cronus
We've decided to purchase a new server that is a bit more powerful and at a better cost to us. While it sucks to reinstall everything, getting MUCH better hardware while saving some money was a no brainer! Late late tonight when the server is pretty empty we will move the NewMaps FDS to it. There may be more downtime over the weekend, but we are hoping it will be fast. Specifications:Processor - Intel Xeon E3-1270 V3RAM - 8GB DDR3 ECCHard Drives - 2 x 500GB SATA (Western Digital RE4 Drives)Uplink Port Speed - 100mbpsBandwidth - 10000GBOperating System - Windows 2008 Web R2 (64bit)IP Addresses - 8 IPs (5 Usable) New Server IP: 64.31.59.50:1337 (Renegade NewMaps 4.1) unknown, CireX, zunnie and 4 others

!zunnie
Our old box served us well the last year+ or so, but its time to move to something better and cheaper. Hunter-Seeker
Graxion
This explains how you broke the server. Just be a little more careful when you break things, so you don't ruin any more large games. Okay? zunnie
dblaney1
Needs a solid state. Makes renegade hiccups so much less prevalent. The weird renlist refresh bug still happens with the new setup. I am thinking it is something to do with the bot. It carried over. Great to see a well deserved upgrade though. Keep up the great work. !zunnie
SSD's would have driven the price up a lot... Two very good SATA revision 3.0 - 6 Gbit/s - 600 MB/s Enterprise drives are good enough for us
