I've tried to get that one out and put it into the description, but it's small - you can't see much on the small pics - the bigger the better, so i get more feeling and into the map which it is. @WNxServer. My map pictures are 1920x1080 resolution. The biggest screen resolution I can get is 1920x1080.

Where can I find those texture files for basic stuff like buildings, ground textures etc. I've been working on satellite images for some maps but buildings and ground on some maps appear covered with westwood logo as proper textures not included on map files. @trunkskgb
I think W3D viewer is a little glitchy because I have almost every texture there is, and mine still don’t always show. Anyway, I believe the is a “texture” file in the mapper section of the downloads page that you would use for making maps. In this case, just unzip the files anywhere you want to, then open up your W3D viewer, and I think there is an option called “texture path” or something like that, and choose the folder where you just unzipped all those files. Then load up your map by selecting the W3D file from within the mix file. You’ll need XCC mixer (in downloads) to extract the W3D file from the mix file. For example, my map C&C Backstab.mix, has a file called “stab.w3d”. That’s the file I would open with the W3D viewer to get an overhead image. Hope this explains it. @vihannes2
Don't forget that rating maps in database is also important. Currently I'm only one who has rated more than couple. Don't be afraid to add maps too, currently its been mostly just me and trunks. Don't need necessary satellite image of map, few screenshots of map are fine also. trunkskgb
