Hey man, this is how to fix it:

1. go to: C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\Renegade\Client\ttfs

2. you should find a file named packages.dat, delete it.

3. join MPF or any server then it should work.

4. Enjoy!

It is extreme easy.

Go "Multiplayer Practice" and click F8.

Then type "cleanup" and press Enter.

This process will remove duplicated packages and remove the confusion without removing tons of files. Of course, if it is the problem.

I couldn't find the appdata folder, so I went into the game and used the command "clearttfs". When I found the folder, I didn't see any files.  Right now MetroTS is downloading on RenCorner after clearing the ttfs.

How do I run a traceroute?

What do you mean?

Would manually downloading all of those files to my ttfs folder solve the problem?

The issue is I can't always locate that folder when I look under "C:users/username" or search. Sometimes I can find it, most of the time I can't. One solution I saw for this issue is clearing the ttfs folder. I found a way to do this in the game and went into Multiplayer Practice to do it. Still can't connect to the server.

Do you have latest scripts? Otherwise it should ask for an update when you run Renegade via UAC launcher in your renegade folder.

Can you connect to any other server?   like ~~The-MatriX-Sniper~~ (it has less necessary ttfs content)

Not really sure what the problem is. I'm aware of only one other server (not ours) that had a similar problem.

Try the map pack https://multiplayerforums.com/files/file/2388-ultraaow-newmaps-mappack/ and are you on latest tt version? - run UAC Launcher.exe
