When I try to log in I get stuck on Requesting Server List and then it will say operation timed out Any ideas?

I was playing on new maps this AM as GDI, looking at my choices for tanks and then as soon as I clicked the striker I was booted and notified that I was banned for something to do with a tank anti-cheat. Is there an update that fixes this?
