if i recall correctly you just need to install it/extract it to the renegade folder.

where the folder is depends on both how you installed renegade, and your operating system.

did you use the original renegade discs, The First Decade, or C&C The Ultimate Collection (Origin). each one has a different install path.

to tell you renegade's install path for your computer we would need to know which of the 3 ways above you got renegade, and what your operating system is, and if it is 32 bit or 64 bit

In St0rm, we could not built Obelisks, AGTs.

this is true, however, if i recall correctly we could re-buy dead buildings back to life if enough credits were had. not sure that would count as 'building' and obelisk though

i take it that the crash is after the map is done downloading, but while its currently loading the map/joining the server? if so, i have yet to have heard of a fix for it, but it is not all that uncommon for me, just exit renegade, make sure the game process is no longer running (process/image name should be game2.exe) and just restart renegade and try again to join. this almost always fixes it for me.

.... ill be honest and admit im still using the pre-setup mirc i downloaded from st0rm way back in the day, haven't even updated it since. my mIRC version is 6.21

i know how to connect to different servers and add them to my favorites, as well as join channels but thats about it

at least it seems to have given up on trying to pop up a browser window every time i start the thing

wonder what would happen if we were to get 20 or more players to fall down the same hole with that glitch?

yeah well seeing as gamespy is gone and its servers offline.... if that had been the case there wouldn't BE renegade online anymore

that being said, ill be playing call of duty this weekend instead of renegade.... the players are smarter on call of duty than what we are getting on renegade

forget winrar, get izarc, it can open and extract rar and many other file formats, is completely free, doest bug ya about registration, and there are no adds in the program. (the installer has a few offers, but you can easily decline them all)

why is it that this version of renx needs a different verison of the .net framework than the closed beta versions?

you have already made me nightmares by reminding about Fjords... 

u think that was bad... on my old pc fjords would cause renegade to have a MAXIMUM FPS rate of 5, 8-10 if i was standing still right in front of a building looking at nothing but the wall

new pc is so far giving me a Minimum fps rate of 80, usually my fps rate is 150-200

fps rate would only be 80-100 if i were to remove my nvidia card and rely only on the graphics chip built into the mobo

Chrome on my ipad on the MPF website causes it to crash.... It too me 3 times to get to the bottom of the thread to write a reply (when are we gunna get an actual mobile version of the site?)

soo does this mean im gonna have to start installing each scripts update manually for the first time since the auto update function was first added  ? if so that sucks, as its basically allowed me to just copy/paste my entire ren directory each time i had to get a new hard drive/computer and in somecases i didnt even have to run the installer, just clicking on the registry file in ren usually did it(said file seems to have disappeared now   )..... and thats worked over 3 computers and 6 hard drives (old comp seemed to like going om nom nom to my hard drives   )

EDIT: heck i had even forgotten the website i got the scripts from

depending on everybody's availiablity you may want to consider having a time every day that everybody who is availiable should logon, instead of one or 2 specific days of the week
