Beginning next month I am going to start a prize raffle, and here's how it will work:
 
1. To enter the drawing you will have to make a donation to this server.
 
2. You will be awarded 1 entry for every dollar you donate. (so $20.00 will be equal to 20 prize entries and so on).
 
3. I will be paying for the prize myself, so no money will be taken from the server to pay for it.
 
4. The drawing will be for everybody including staff.

C&C_Escobar_Island

The Design
The buildings are relatively far apart here which makes it a little hard to repair sometimes.
The obelisk and agt do not cover the Refinery very well so better watch it.
There is a big base wall on which you can get on top of over the ramps. Good sniper vantage points!
The plateau extends all over the map through the center. Some weapon spawns here and there and a crate too.
When?
Right now! It is installed on the server and in rotation!

C&C_Lava
Mauler and me have finished working on the map C&C_Lava. The textures were mostly made by Mauler as well as the bigass rocks that cover the scenery.
Beware that you cannot drive or walk over the lava, you will die lol.

The Design
Scene is set in a fantasy world with 3 volcano's and lots and lots of hot Lava! The map is divided into several small islands where some have a building on it.
They are connected with a dozen bridges to access each building's island.
In the center of the map you can find two Helicopter Pads which can be repaired to full health after which you can purchase a GDI Orca or a Nod Apache for $700.
The Silo's and Repairpads do not count to the buildings and can be repaired when they are killed.
Inside the Sniper Towers are weapon spawners. A crate spawns in the center.

When?
Right Now! Beta 1 is already installed on the server and is in rotation.
Just join and let the 4.0 integrated downloader download it when it comes by (20MB).

It is online right now and serving a CoD4 and CSGO 32 player server
 
Server IP = 95.211.223.6
Both the CoD4 and CSGO server are running on the default port so you do not need to enter them when trying to connect.

First we need our Character, here you can see the Umagon from Reborn
Then we need the Skeleton, depending on what Charactertype we have, import either the male or the feamle character
( You find them in the folder of the Renegade Public Tools under Characters\(fe)male\ select the sceleton and a screen similar to this should came up )

Select ALL and press ok.
Now we need to align and resize the character, because in most cases it will look like this:
To make your life easier you should hide all K_ bones and the old mesh, also the wordlboxes

Try to align the character as close as possible to fit the bones!!

Tweak up the base position, so the character fits the bones. As you saw on the previous screenshot the arms and the feets/legs don`t fit that good, so we need to align them, so hope that the creator of the model has already designed the model to fit, otherwhise you`ll have a lot of fun now align it propperly 
Its is very important that you align it as close as possible, that will later make your life alot easier and will reduce the amount of animation errors you later might get!


Now it fits the bones alot better

Unhide all parts, delete the merged Head and body mesh, the female file also contains a camera object that you can delete also its not needed. If you have not done it yet, save your work into a new file 
Now we will Link the Mesh to the WWSkin (thats the small CrossBone) by selecting 
and the click on the mesh ad drag to the WWSkin: 

Now the model has the WWSkin Binding Modigfier aplied we will now use this to bind the vertices to the bones:

Select all Vertices and press on the Auto-Link Button

Congratulation, the smart part is done now
Time for fixing errors, or did you thought it is THAT easy??? For better working on the next steps you can again hide all the K_ Bones the Worldbox, the select all the c_ bones and activate the "Display as box" option

Now move the animation slider to frame 1, you will notice that your Character moves.

Move through the different frames and watch out for anny missaligned faces.

Select the Bone the faces "should" be aligned to here it is the right tight bone, write it down, or rember it, and select the missaligned faces, and click on the Link to bone by Name

Find and select the bone the faces belong to:

Press Ok and your faces are aligned right, well done 

Repeat these steps untill all faces are alingend right
Export your final result Export it with following Settings:

Female Charcter: Male Charcter: You find the needed Skeleton Files in the coresponding folder from where you have merged the sceleton file.
Now you can test the Character In-Game and see if there are any other problems you might need to fix, have fun on your hard way 

In the month February 2013 we will be battling for the Ultimate Collection from Electronic Arts with all the up2date Command & Conquer Titles available today.
You must be ranked 1st on our Renegade Snipers 4.0 server.
This prize works different from the usual prizes:
The Ultimate Collection is activated on EA's Origin by entering a Serial Code after which you will be able to download every CNC Title.
In this particular case an EA Origin account is required to redeem your prize. Like with Steam, an Origin account is free of charge.

the server has lots of unique maps, but it also has such a big amount of options and tricks, which makes it unique much among all renegade servers

I am going to update the server now and install a couple of new maps, the tag system Mauler and me have been working on and a bunch of code fixes.
This is a major upgrade and it might take me a little while to complete, think <60 minutes.

UltraAOW Mappack Available

First Mappack
The first and 4.0 compatible Mappack made by MPF for our UltraAOW servers.
All maps that are in rotation are contained within this mappack.
Slower Connections
If you have a somewhat slower connection and get tired of waiting on the ingame downloadscreen you could download this mappack and install it before joining any of our servers.
You will not experience the ingame 4.0 downloader at all then, just join up and play right away.
Notes
By default your ttfs folder where Renegade 4.0 downloads maps to is located in your Application Data folder which is a hidden system folder by default.
For this reason you *should not* change the destination location when the installer asks you for it. You should leave the default installation location in place unless you are absolutely sure you must change it and know what you are doing.
If the destination is wrong then the mappack will not be installed properly and you still get download dialogs while joining our servers.

C&C_Deth_River
This map was created years ago by a guy called DethGogse from the MoonLightShakers website/clan DaDeth.
Back in the days we used to play some new maps on their 32 player server hosted from a university connection by DethRoses if i remember correct.
Good ol' days man :'(
 
The Design
The map is designed in such a way that you can get into each others base through the tunnels and main roads.
There are bigass tunnels too and a nice river running through. Weapons are also spawning.
Keep an eye on your Refinery because it can be accessed by the enemy without defenses spotting them.
 
When?
Somewhere around this upcoming weekend we will see this map appear on the server.
zunnie and Mauler are still first working on and finishing the tagging system which will be introduced by then probably too.
