havent played with IRC settings for long long time... trying to set up new computer... any tutorials out there?   cant see them on forum

yay!     i like some of the new maps.... but would like to see more of a mix... some of the old maps were still good.  

what do i do to get on admin channel so i can auth...

now using avast for almost 3 weeks... no more lag issue like before with AVG.  I'm using an older computer, so maybe some AVG updates were too much.

trying avast now!   so far so good...

i think i narrowed down my lag issues in game to my virus program  I've used AVG free for years, but i think a recentupdate has really messed up the game mode, and I dont see where to change that in the program.  So i'm looking around for either a new free antivirus, or, if needed, one I need to buy.... any suggestions?  (free is nice )  

tried turning off virus program today.. worked much better... ive been using AVG free.. maybe an update is messing it up.. used it for years...    any one have suggestions for virus program that might work better with gaming?

says it doesnt need defrag.. but i might try that

lately Im having lots of issues with loading game.. I have an older computer, but it was a high end gaming computer just a few years ago, and ren shouldnt cause it issues.

for example, when I start the game, it takes much longer to load a map then it should ( i tried it on Jelly, and same issue, so its not this server)

the while ingame, my FPS jumps all over, and is often very low.. sometimes so bad that I leave game

wondering if there are any files I should look for in the ren folder that might be causing this, or i should delete some, etc..

the other thing I will check.. my sons are home for the holidays, and the bandwidth here might be an issue.  but doesnt seem to affect anything else

sometime this year.... new computer and fresh install!    (just dont want to reinstall right now.. likely it wouldnt do anything)
