Oh i see what happened, i forgot to configure the Download Manager group with the max likes they can do
Fixed now..

It sucks but this type of activity has been going on for years off an on, and it's not just in Renegade. Although Renegade seems to be much more suceptible with its aging code and reliance on a very non-robust xwis service.
 
We will outlast the little cowards that hide behind their keyboards thinkng they are so bad ass. Dont let this stuff discourage you, we will get through it, over it, around it etc. Typically the losers that do this crap are leading self descructive lives and eventually shit does catch up with them. What goes around comes around bitches!

Introduction
Because we really like the game CS:GO and have started up a few servers for this we are very eager to make it active and a success.
We are looking for five active people in the MPF community who do not already own the game but do want to have it.
Read the favors we ask in return and then simply post in this topic you are interested, i will contact you on IRC then or TS3.
I will have the copies of CSGO around the 30th of July 2013, I might do this more often so keep your eyes open

You can also chek if a channel is registered or not by typing "/cs info #channelname"

Take note that you must first have your nickname registered before you can register channels as well.
Type /ns help register
for details on how to register your nickname. Also note you *must* use a valid email address when registering your nickname; You will be sent an email to confirm it.

Now that you are on mIRC and you want to register a channel for yourself, first you need to go to that channel you wish to create like /join #mpf-testchannel. Once you are in there you should be @ status in that channel.
 

 
Once that is done then you do this.
 
type in /cs REGISTER {channel} #mpf-testchannel {description} This is my testing channel.
 
Then you will find yourself on the channel with ~ if you have done this right then you will be the founder. If you haven't then either someone else is on the channel with @ and they need to leave or the channel is already registered with someone else.

Play Ren Greatwall is the map now. Awesome map!

Back online...

Servers are back online, nothing was lost.

The D drive in our main serverpc has failed today and is currently inaccessible.
The datacentre technicians will perform some diagnostics on the server hardware as soon as possible which will result in a downtime of about an hour of:
- NewMaps 4.0
- Snipers 4.0
- TF2 Server
- CSGO US NewMaps
- Teamspeak 3
- martini IRC daemon
Nothing important was lost as we did not keep anything on that drive but some backups and a webserver.
Hopefully they will be able to bring back the harddrive or replace it with a new one.

UltraAOW Le Mans 24: Performance Test
This upcoming weekend starting Friday morning the 14th of June till monday morning the 17th of June 2013 we will enable a timelimit of 24 hours per map.
CloudVZ Server Provider
The server provider CloudVZ.com is providing us this weekend with an extremely powerful system to test performance for them.
For the weekend the NewMaps 4.0 server will run on a 12 cores Intel E5-2630(x2), 32GB RAM, 150GB SAN Harddrive space with a Level 3 Gigabit network interface.
Performance should be quite optimal on this babe

TT 4.0 Update is Required
The Tiberian Technologies Update 4.0 for Renegade is required to play on the server.
You can download it on their official website if you do not already have it.
It adds lots of extra's, anti-cheat and a ingame automatic map-downloader, awesome stuff!
Active Server Plugins
Of course the server will run our own mpf_newmaps.dll plugin which adds additional functionality to the server such as Veterancy and Special Crates & Power-ups.
Other plugins running on the server are for example the Team Donate and FirstBlood.

You could download our Mappack before joining the server. This ensures you have all the maps already.
Then you will not experience any ingame download dialogs which may take long if you have a slow(er) connection.
All you do is click Next, Next, wait for it to install the maps and then you're done and ready to join.
Game Prize
This month's Game Prize is the Unreal Tournament Complete Series Pack on Steam.
The person ranked first on our server at the end of June will receive this into their Steam Account as a gift.

I just wanted to say this was a HUGE success and I thank MDK for the idea and zunnie, Mauler, etc. for kicking it off. It was a lot of fast maps to start but this really stepped up teamwork as evidenced by some long intense back and forth maps. Some of the best competition I have had in ren in a long time.
