Dblaney used to sugest deleteing the packages.dat file (DONT DELETE THE FOLDER) in the directory somewhere (I forget where). Perhaps someone can post the file location, removing that file reduces crashs and lag whren downloading.

Nope, both my clients don't work now and I cant join renegade

I get an error saying I failed to download required packages and the game closes >.> I can get onto other servers but not newmaps. Im using my imperial age client to join now but I would prefer my regular ren client to work. Edit: Both of my clients have the issue now and I cant join. My imperial age client worked for one map than stopped.

I just noticed this today, may be a result of yesterday's changes to the fourms. On the main page I will be told I have unread posts however when I open the sub fourm to look it dosent tell me I have any unread posts. When I open the post I will see the new posts. The sub fourm even says topics that I commented on have 0 replies and 0 views depsite having mutiple replies.

I know that if you run ren with renlist it dosent care for your CD key you can play renegade online without one.

Wait a minute… Here you say you won’t join the MPF clan because you will lose all your recs but then you try to anyway. Looking at the time stamps your clan application and decision not to join take place within a short period of time

As everyone’s favorite 3rd world country I would like to say you are welcome. Me and a lot of the APB guys haven’t played here long but in our short time here we have had a lot of laughs in game. MPF is much more chill then other renegade communities and playing with people here is a lot of fun.

I was going to suggest this when I read the thread but Chery beat me to it. We can have double points on the weekend if people really want it and randomly selecting an above game mode for each map. So some maps are stealth, others are crazy mode etc if that is possible. This way people don’t get bored of one game mode and it adds spice to gameplay with a side of random unexpectedness. If it isn’t possible I vote the crazy weekend because Kamakaize is my favorite unit

Yeah its usually those ones, I open the forums and it will say that there are unread messages in renegade but they are stuff in moderation that I’m not allowed to read or it will be a hidden TCW forum that I don’t have access to or the donators section will tell me I have unread messages. I don’t know if you can do something about this but it’s just annoying to be told that there are unread messages to read when you don’t have access to said messages.

So I just find it really annoying when I read the forums to be told I have unread posts but then only to find out they are in sections I don’t have permission to read. While it may not be a problem to you admins it is kind of annoying for us mortals who aren’t allowed to read the behind the scenes stuff. Could you please fix this?

I understand that there are both pros and cons to having voting enabled (not going to write it out) but at the very at least can it be enabled on the TCW servers. Me and the other terr0rsquad guys were on TCW today and 6 of us were playing a couple of different maps. However at one point we got switched to 1hr death match map and after 10mins everyone got bored and left While I would personally love voting enabled on all servers that’s not my decision to make however I think it would be great for TCW in its current state with low player counts and different game modes. It would let people skip the hard co-op maps that require lots of players to effectively play
