Version Mismatch

So ive decided to come back and play this game some.

 

I have downloaded 4.0 tt scripts and the 1.037 patch. 

 

However everytime I attempt to connect i get the version mismatch message. Tried reinstalling the game and patch and everything. To no avail. I have no idea whats wrong, Ive tried several different versions of the patch, and nothing....

Never install 4.0 before 1.037 ....

 

Always fresh install, patch to 1.037 then patch to latest version TT, Etc....

 

"Ultimate Collection" version is preloaded with 1.037 - so need to update that, just to TT 4.0

I did, but i shall try again. ill reinstall the whole thing again

I would like to add that if you have "The Ultimate Collection" which uses Origin to download the game, which I have, it is already at 1.037, and you do not need to apply that update. In fact, if you try to apply it, you will get an error asking for a valid serial. Just run the 4.0 installer and it will work fine. Cheers!!! See you in game!!!
