renlist warning

When I start ren from renlist, I get a warning,says      Warning: Renegade was not started via the launcher. The auto-update did not run and you may not have the latest version.

I just reinstalled my OS, and system drivers and ren is a total reinstall. I just hit OK and the game plays fine, just wondering how to stop the warnng from coming up

...or you could just go into Options>Setings>General and change your executable to \UAC Launcher.exe

You can ignore that.

Its to do with the 4.0 launcher which updates when there are updates available...
