Fonts & Colors

Question

In some screen shots for Goodonedriver, he uses a green & blue team font instead of the yellow and red. How can I change that? I like those colors.

you can change the colours of text in hud.ini i think ... just open up notepad copy and edit the stuff in the code box and save as hud.ini :)

to edit the font and size you need to edit stylmgr.ini

[General]NodHouseRed=255NodHouseGreen=0NodHouseBlue=0GDIHouseRed=255GDIHouseGreen=200GDIHouseBlue=0PrivateMessageRed=0PrivateMessageGreen=255PrivateMessageBlue=0PublicMessageRed=0PublicMessageGreen=255PublicMessageBlue=255

NodHouseGreen= (Nod team chat)

GDIHouseGreen= (GDI team chat)

PublicMessageGreen= (public message)

thats should be right ... just need to change the colour number

I searched it and found this..

http://www.renegadeskins.net/t1190-tutorial-renegade-chat-colors

Also when you're trying to pick out colors, you need a RGB value (red green and blue)

http://www.rapidtables.com/web/color/RGB_Color.htm (here's a color picker, since the post doesn't show a chart..)

Just use the color picker to find a color you like, and copy the RGB value to the corressponding values on the text file.

I tried it myself and it worked perfectly. :D

It worked, but I had to save the file in ...
My documents > Renegade > Client
It has to be saved as a configuration file, instead of a simple notepad.

It looks nice! The only problem is, my name or someone else's name on their person also becomes that shade. It's just a little hard to see. I could change the color, but I like it. So we'll see what happens.

I wonder if the general chat (white) and name plates can edited to their normal colors. I have a feeling the answer will be no.
