what the hey? IRc and TS kicks

Recently it seems like I can only stay in IRC or TS for a matter of a few minutes, or sometimes an hour or two...then I get a disconnect and/or a kick.    As a mod, then I have to unban myself from IRC, re enter, etc.    However it does not affect my ingame status, unless I log out of the game.

 

I thought it might be the computer, or my version of IRC and TS... (I usually run both on an old laptop next to my main computer).  But today I tried to use updated software on my main computer for IRC and TS... same result....

Looks like a connection problem between you and the irc server. It bans you because when you finally reconnect your other nickname is probably still active, then your irc users an alternative nickname and that nickname is not in the channel allow list and it gets auto-banned.

To unban yourself you have to type /cs unban #mpf-newmaps-admin

 

There is nothing we can do about this on our end

 

Maybe you could give Cronus some more info, tracert's perhaps and ping results. Other than that im not sure.

well... irc working fine today... i didnt do a think to it.   It s been working for the past few hours.   Usually it would kick out in half an hour or less.
