If you cancel half way. Then the VIS is screw up and some part of the map any vehicles or infantry will just simply disappear. So you have to set granularity to 15-17. Like for some maps that is super huge you need set 16-17 as it require a lot of time to generate, if you set to less then 8 it will never get it done.

A tutorial has been posted for those who are interested in setting up Renegade X Game Servers. You can find all of that information here: [LINK]
    Tips and tricks
    Keybinds:
    - 'F': makes you switch to a first person perspective with characters AND vehicles as well
    - 'V' or 'F2': Hold it and it will change the upper right corner scoreboard to show harvester health, player credits, player locations and which players on your team are currently engineers
    - 'N': Toggles on night vision on some weapons
    - Shift: Use shift to sprint (there is also vehicle sprint)
    - 'Q': Target a structure, friendly or enemy to initiate spotting or status messages like "Building needs repair". Hold 'Q' down and hover over multiple enemies, then release 'Q' to spot all of them in a single spot message. (In later updates the spot messages will sometimes also display type of spotted vehicle and type of spotted class.)
    - ALT/CTRL+V: Opens up a vote menu where you can vote for changing maps, adding bots and more
    - 'TAB': Opens Scoreboard
    - 'K': Toggle upper right scoreboard mode between viewing all and only viewing yourself
    - 'F3': Chat
    - 'F4': Teamchat
    - 'U': Private Message
    General:
    - The silo techbuildings (like the one in the middle of CNC-Field) can be captured by shooting their Master Control Terminal with a repair gun
    - Hit "Esc" to change teams or suicide
    - Airstrikes: To initiate an airstrike buy it from the PT then zoom and target an area. While zooming hold down the left mouse button and rotate the mouse. You will see that the visible indicator then also changes rotation. So with it you can define from which angle the airstrike should come in.

Thanks again for checking out Renegade X!. This is a special moment for all of us. We have been working on Renegade X since 2006 - we started off as an idea, then we became a mod, and now this is a full-fledged indie game. We are very satisfied with how the game has turned out, and we can't wait to see you all ingame. Let this game be a testament that dreams can come true, because at one point, Renegade X was only the dream of a few ambitious teenagers and young adults.
It was clear that there was not going to be a sequel to a game that was a big part of my life. C&C Renegade was the "failed game" with the not-so-special singleplayer campaign that was completely overshadowed by titles like Medal of Honour, Halo, and Battlefield 1942. But Renegade had a unique multiplayer formula that most reviewers seemed to have ignored. C&C Renegade was no good for 56k players, or for players connecting to servers from different continents. Hosting online games was too difficult, unless you wanted a 4 player server on your computer. The game was virtually unsupported just a few months after release. Renegade 2 was dropped, and by 2005, the community was given control over the server browser.
Despite the poor sales, the sub-par graphics, the mediocre singleplayer, the slow internet speeds, and the lack of support, players recognized that Renegade possessed a hidden gem. C&C mode was enough to feed a thriving community for 12 years, and beget many custom maps, skin and model packs, an anti-cheat system, custom community patches, serverside mods, more ambitious mods, total conversions, and even indie games. Renegade was one of the most active (if not THE most active) C&C multiplayer games.
Now, Renegade X a full-fledged spiritual successor to the original Renegade. Our audience is massive, and every major gaming website and magazine is talking about Renegade X. Our trailers are some of the most popular C&C-related videos ever released. Old players are coming back to check us out, and old clans and communities are reforming. Our audience are those older gamers 25-45 who have been left behind by the game industry's dumbing-down of multiplayer games as of late. While the industry focuses on tablet, mobile, and gimmicky console games, there is a whole generation of lost PC gamers who have been left behind. They miss the dynamic sophistication of C&C Renegade, and they are all interested in trying out our free game.
Renegade X is not a direct remake of C&C Renegade. Yes, you will see familiar maps, characters, weapons, and vehicles - the fundamentals of the game are the same. But, no weapon is identical to the way it was before. Certain vehicles play quite differently (Artillery, MRLS, Mammoth Tank, Apache, Orca, Transport). A moderate amount of recoil and weapon spread has been given to guns (and you'll see why). The graphics, audio, and physics have received a complete overhaul. Secondary weapons and new items have been added. Capturable buildings have been added. There's so much that is different - but keep in mind that we are die-hard Renegade fans, and we are very careful with the things we change.
We look forward to your feedback, and remember that Totem Arts will always be there for the community. We will be putting out more game info and strategy videos for new players in the days and weeks to come. We'll also be fixing any of the game's problems, adding new features, adding new maps and gamemodes, making more player-friendly menus and settings, and simply be there for all those who need technical support. We are the biggest fans of our own game, so you'll find us to be very open and accessible.
Thanks again for helping our dream come true - see you on the battlefield! It's finally TIME TO ROCK & ROLL!

Wah very low end AMD graphic card and its cannot even play game, well at least not those today hardcore games. Need to be at least 67xx series above.

Anything before the x7xx series ( like x4xx,x5xx,x6xx ) is not build to play around with software or hard core games. But is build for watching movies, playing facebook games, and all those stuff that do not need a powerful card to run.

67xx series is a real mid end gaming card.
68xx series is a good gaming card.
69xx series is the most powerful AMD cards can offer. But the 69xx series people get it for then 1 monitors.

If you want to upgrade to a newer AMD cards try to get R9 270x is an average good graphic card that can handle most today games on high settings.
Remember! AMD cards are always cheaper compared to Nvidia.

05 February 2014 For the past few years the Tiberian Technologies team worked their asses off to make Renegade as bugfree as possible, and today on BlackIntel's eight birthday we are happy to announce another iteration of that process. Scripts 4.1RC2 hereby goes into public testing to ensure we can release a final 4.1 shortly. Our private testing process has caught a lot of bugs and we are confident that 4.1RC2 is very stable. However, since our test team is small and has other occupations as well, we do want you, the public, to test it further before we call it a final release. The patch solves the following issues:

A large amount of bug fixes and stability improvements (including crash fixes) Anti-cheat changes (   ) Disable triggerbot detector since it was giving false-positives for people with touchscreens etc. Add GBBO console command to get the current BBO value Various rendering engine improvements (provides some FPS improvement) (   ) Fix various memory leaks (   ) Fix false positives in the file-hash anti-cheat (to do with files of the same name but different contents being in different maps) Fix missing bullet hole decals on the back of certain meshes (e.g. GDI weapons factory glass) Remove zlib1.dll (now linked directly into the code) Remove a bunch of useless/obsolete scripts ( ) Make alt-F4 quit the game when pressed (   ) Make ban system ignore serials that are all 0s Add new VehicleLockIcons keyword to ssgm.ini, when set it will disable the vehicle lock icons (but not the functionality) Remove obsolete slave server logic (it was getting in the way of other changes we needed to make) Move certain pieces of shared code to a new shared.dll file Merge shaders.dll and tt.dll into bandtest.dll (this will make things slightly faster) Fix so that lighting is properly applied to decals (no more super bright decals on certain maps)

    !rate ingame Command
We redesigned the ingame command !rate back on December 26th.  While our old system worked, the new one is using a more precise system which utilizes a MySQL DB.
This allows us more easily to look at ratings for each map and see what you our players want or don't want!

So now we have a page on our UltraAOW.com website to view the stats: Click here to view!
There are more things we want to do to the list, which will come later.  For now it is ready for the public to look at stats and see how everyone is rating maps.

    Things to Remember
The command syntax is !rate 1-5.  And is only available after 1Min15Secs minutes after the map has started!
This is to stop everyone from rating 1 without playing the map, sometimes a map looks bad but plays nice!
The command can only be used once per map per player, so make sure you vote appropriately.

    Get out there and vote!!!
Everyone needs to vote!  We DO use this data to decide if a map should stay or go, so always remember to vote what you REALLY think of a map.

Renegade X - Release Date Unveiled (Trailer)
Check out our latest trailer below!

    http://www.renegade-x.com
    The End is the Beginning
The news that you've all been patiently waiting for has arrived. Renegade X is a free multiplayer Tactical FPS game that will be released on February 26, 2014. The release will coincide with the 12th birthday of C&C Renegade.
Renegade X is not an ordinary game. We are bringing the popular "Command & Conquer" RTS series to ground level as a large-scale team-based tactical shooter. Players will be able to fight for two unique teams - the Global Defense Initiative (GDI), a UN international military force committed to world order and peacekeeping, and the Brotherhood of Nod, a messianic international terrorist network that aims to push humanity into the next stage of human evolution.
Players will be able to manage their own economies, choose from over 30 weapons, 15 vehicles, and call in nuclear strikes, Ion Cannons, and airstrikes, and much more.
Each team will have a base of operations that composes of several key structures. Each structure has its own purpose. For example, the GDI Barracks gives GDI players access to special weapons and characters. If the Barracks is destroyed by Nod forces, GDI will lose the ability to purchase these special weapons.
We believe that this gamemode - "Command & Conquer Mode" - can potentially revolutionize the FPS genre. It is the gem that went unnoticed for many years. Now is the time to uncover it.
    Release Date
Renegade X version 1.0 will be released on February 26th, 2014. Our journey began in 2007 - we released five betas for Unreal Tournament 3 in 2009 and 2010, and we released our singleplayer campaign Black Dawn in 2012.
Our original promise was to release Renegade X version 1.0 in 2013. The game went into its private beta phase in June 2013. We then decided to postpone the release from December to February, as the team believes that an additional few weeks of polishing is necessary. We'd like to deliver a stable and balanced game, and the extra development and testing time would produce that. We realize that this may disappoint some fans, but keep in mind that we are a non-profit team working on this game on our spare time. Our team has had six successful releases in the past, and we have always launched on time. This will be the first time that we postpone the game's deadline.
The closure of Victory Games (EALA) is definitely a factor in our delay. Without going into much detail, Victory Games was going to provide a supportive role in advertisement, distribution, and server and client-side features. Now that Victory Games has closed, we have a few more tasks on our hands.
The multiplayer release will be a beta. That means that although all core features will be in the game, it will not be the finished product. We plan on releasing patches, new maps, and new features throughout 2014. You will be able to post your suggestions for the game and issues with the game, and we will address all of them. With a game as large scale as Renegade X, a public beta is necessary to iron out any glitches and balance fixes that are necessary.
We will be pumping out a lot of news, videos, interviews, and updates from now until release. Can you keep up with us?
You are more than welcome to ask any questions either on this thread or on our Forums: http://www.renegade-x.com/forums/
    Other news
The leader of Nod's "Black Hand" special forces is this man: Gideon Raveshaw. General Raveshaw is a short, cold, unforgiving man. He possesses unmatched charisma and intelligence. The name "Gideon" is Hebrew for "Mighty Warrior"... that's pretty befitting for a man wielding a railgun that is almost his own size. Check him out.

    Mendoza
Carlos Mendoza is mercenary who came to Nod after his methods became too extreme even for the extremists he was working for. He stays in General Raveshaw's employ due to the amount of money he receives for his services. Mendoza has a very confident and arrogant fighter, often insulting his enemies during firefights and gloating. He carries the electrifying Volt Autorifle.

    Sniper Rifle
Here is the new and improved 500-credit sniper rifle. Shiny.

    Sidearm Weapon Reveal
In Renegade X, all characters spawn with a default silenced pistol. We will be giving players the option to customize their weapon loudout. Advanced characters will be given the option to exchange their silenced pistol for either the Machine Pistol, a short-ranged fast-firing weapon, or the Heavy Pistol, a handgun with incendiary armour-piercing rounds. We will be discussing other secondary weapon customization options in later updates.

    X-Mountain
Kenz, one of our beta testers, has begun working on Renegade X's first fanmap, "X-Mountain". The first version of X-Mountain was featured in the UT3 version of Renegade X back in 2009. It quickly became a favourite, and now Kenz is working on a remake for the upcoming release. It's looking really good, check it out below.

    Keep an eye out
We're very excited to be finally releasing Renegade X version 1.0. This is the summation of seven years of hard work. The game is finally playing the way we want it to, and it brings a grin to all of our faces. We'd like to thank you all for your continued support! See you on the battlefield.

ImperialKaskins reacted to kenz3001 in Renegade X - Summer Update!
Whoo! It's been 4 months since we've put out any updates for our upcoming indie FPS game, Renegade X. We've been in our corner tinkering with the game, working on new assets, and having a blast in test sessions. Honestly, we just forgot about yall. Oops?
Today we'd like to discuss a huge list of items. Let's start!
    Stuff
Renegade X is a tactical FPS game for the Unreal Development Kit. It is a shooter with RTS elements, and it will feature tons of weapons, vehicles, maps, and two unique factions. Our singleplayer demo is available for download, and our multiplayer version will be out later this year.
The game is shaping up. All of the base components are there, and we have been playtesting for months. There is a lot of polishing that is necessary, and that has been our main focus for a while. We've been working on the netcode to overcome lag issues, which hinder the fluidity of the game. We've also been refining and fine tuning the experience - re-adjusting game values to bring Renegade X up to date whilst maintaining its arcadey classic-FPS feel.
RypelCam is back! RypelCam is a custom software that allows players to take images and record and watch interactive videos of the game. You'll be able to rewatch recorded games at whatever angle you want, slow things down, quicken things up, and make some really awesome trailers. Let that be a hint at our next media update [ ]
Currently, Renegade X has seven core maps (Mesa, Field, Islands, Hourglass II, Lakeside, Goldrush, Walls_Flying), all of the core buildings, all of the core weapons and vehicles, a skirmish mode with customizable bots, superweapons, and much more.
    Railgun
We finally got down to doing a new railgun which is not an amalgamation of other weapons put together! This weapon was a GDI prototype that was confiscated by Raveshaw's Black Hand special ops teams. The weapons were being moved from France to Italy via the Mediterranean in GDI transport disguised as a civilian freighter. Nod forces boarded the ship and took its contents to Libya, where they found that the ship was carrying a valuable cargo which was on route to the eastern European frontline. That cargo would become Raveshaw's trademark weapon: the Railgun.
The railgun will work a little differently tha how it did in the original game, and we'll be releasing the details in another update. Check it out below!

    Silenced Pistol
The pistol needed an upgrade, so we've decided to model a new one based on the P22 Walther with a silencer. It resembles the alpha C&C Renegade pistol that can be found in old pre-release trailers and screenshots. We've overhauled our audio systems dramatically, and each of our weapons now have their own distance-based sounds, so the significance of silenced weapons has greatly increased. The silenced pistol is now a much more viable infiltrator weapon than it was in the original game.

    Grenade Launcher
Our older model had some animations issues, and it wasn't to par with all of our other art. We wanted to make it pretty, like the rest of the game! The GDI Grenade launcher is a free weapon that fires explosive rounds. It's hard to top that. What more do you want? Come at me bro!

    Ion Cannon Beacon
The Ion Cannon Beacon, nicknamed "Godsend", is GDI's way of calling down its spaced-based  superweapon. All a player needs to do is purchase the beacon, plant it at the enemy base, wait a few seconds, and kablamo!

    Hourglass II
Hourglass II is a remake of the original Hourglass with some revisions. The original Hourglass was infamous for all of its "pointwhoring" and camping, and most matches resulted in a timelimit expiry rather than base destruction. We wanted to make the map a little more fluid. We removed the major base defenses and added flying units, and we unanimously say, this level is a lot more playable now. For you oldschool RenX fans, it has the excitement of Horologe with the calculative qualities of Hourglass. We also replaced the dirt with snow. Winter is coming, so might as well get used to it now.

ImperialKaskins got a reaction from Pwn Call in Adding Bots
How to add a AI character bot in the map that you want it to be. Let's say you know the basic of Level Editor.
This is the simple and easy way of adding bots into the map that you like. Although easier way can be applied.
This is what I know 3 years ago in adding bots into Renegade

Let's start off go to Object/Soldier/GDI/CnC_GDI_Minigunner_0 and you temp it ( Step 1.jpeg )

When you temp it a window will pop up, name it GDI_Rifleman_Bot ( Step 2.jpeg)

In the same window go into settings and scroll down until you look for UseInnaBehavior. This is suppose to tell you is there a personality or not. ( Step 3.jpeg)

InnateAgressiveness : Is the bot is very agressive and try to kill you as soon as possible.
UnnateTakeCoverProbability : Which the bot try to take cover, but they suck as the only cover they know is crouch and wait even the enemy is infront of them.

    Next go to Spawner/Object Spawner and Ai_test_spawners. Temp AI_Test_Spawners ( Step 4.jpeg)

Now after you temp it rename what ever you want and go into settings. ( Step 5.jpeg)

Player Type : ( Nod or GDI ) which it is the team
    Spawnmax : "-1" is infinity
Spawn delay : After the bot is killed how long will it spawn again.

    Then go into Pick Presets

Now in Presets you see the Preset List, Go and look for the Preset bot earlier you created which is in "Step 1.Jpeg" and double click it make sure is in the selected Preset.

Step 7. Find the temp name that you recently added and click on make to make it appear in the map. Make sure the box is white to make sure the bot properly spawn on the terrain.

Now after the bots, you need to generate pathfinder. So goto Editor Objects/Pathfind Generator/Human. Click on the Human and click create on the terrain. It will spawn a football like crystal.

Last but not least Step 9.jpeg look on your top bar and click on "PathFinding" and then click "Generate Sectors"

Wait for a moment for it to generate depending on the map size and your computer spec. After that is done, click on the file and click export as. It will export into your Renegade/Data folder.

When you export name it like "C&C_Under_Bot" or "C&C_MyBot". It must have a "C&C_<Name of your map>"
