Most, if not all, of our Developers and Testers will be available during this event so you can ask questions and or make comments about the current version 1.52 and the upcoming version 2.0 which is under construction. Newcomers If you are a newcomer to Tiberium Crystal War or never heared of it, go watch our video trailer first on homepage. Tiberium Crystal War is a full standalone conversion of the Renegade W3D Engine, you do not need Renegade to play it and you can run it aside Renegade just fine. It consists of structures, vehicles, units, sounds and many other assets from the game C&C 3: Tiberium Wars which were worked up by our Developers to work with Renegade. There are 15+ maps and a few different game-modes such as the classic All Out War, Deathmatch, Co-Op and Domination. If you want you can look at our Official Manual Where You can download the Tiberium Crystal War v1.52 client from our website at http://www.tiberiumcrystalwar.com There are several mirrors available and all are hosted on 100mbits connections.   4. EDIT: Server is back online in XWIS mode! XWIS (todays Westwood Online (WOL)) appears to be down for the last couple of hours now. I have placed the NewMaps server in GSA mode (listed on RenList) for now. You can connect to it using a program called RenList which fetches all available servers off of GameSpy. Simply extract the package to your Renegade\RenList folder, then run RenList.exe and set a nickname in Options. To join our server just select it from the list -maybe add to favorites- and click on Connect. Hopefully XWIS will be back online shortly and when that happens the server will be restarted. Edit: Appearently the XWIS servers which provide us with a serverlisting are being DDoS attacked. I hope the guys responsible for this will stop attacking it soon so we can have a couple of normal good old fashion games again :/

  8. UltraAOW Mappack Available [-Click 2 Download-] ( 870 MB ) First Mappack The first and 4.0 compatible Mappack made by MPF for our UltraAOW servers. All maps that are in rotation are contained within this mappack. Slower Connections If you have a somewhat slower connection and get tired of waiting on the ingame downloadscreen you could download this mappack and install it before joining any of our servers. You will not experience the ingame 4.0 downloader at all then, just join up and play right away. Notes By default your ttfs folder where Renegade 4.0 downloads maps to is located in your Application Data folder which is a hidden system folder by default. For this reason you *should not* change the destination location when the installer asks you for it. You should leave the default installation location in place unless you are absolutely sure you must change it and know what you are doing. If the destination is wrong then the mappack will not be installed properly and you still get download dialogs while joining our servers.   9. C&C_Escobar_Island A map created by "Pwn Call" and his first public release on MPF for the UltraAOW NewMaps 4.0 server. Download http://multiplayerforums.com/index.php?/files/file/192-cc-escobar-island/ The Design The buildings are relatively far apart here which makes it a little hard to repair sometimes. The obelisk and agt do not cover the Refinery very well so better watch it. There is a big base wall on which you can get on top of over the ramps. Good sniper vantage points! The plateau extends all over the map through the center. Some weapon spawns here and there and a crate too. When? Right now! It is installed on the server and in rotation! Screenshots

  11. C&C_Lava Mauler and me have finished working on the map C&C_Lava. The textures were mostly made by Mauler as well as the bigass rocks that cover the scenery. Beware that you cannot drive or walk over the lava, you will die lol. The Design Scene is set in a fantasy world with 3 volcano's and lots and lots of hot Lava! The map is divided into several small islands where some have a building on it. They are connected with a dozen bridges to access each building's island. In the center of the map you can find two Helicopter Pads which can be repaired to full health after which you can purchase a GDI Orca or a Nod Apache for $700. The Silo's and Repairpads do not count to the buildings and can be repaired when they are killed. Inside the Sniper Towers are weapon spawners. A crate spawns in the center. When? Right Now! Beta 1 is already installed on the server and is in rotation. Just join and let the 4.0 integrated downloader download it when it comes by (20MB). Screenshots Video

    General Map Information Snow_Warfare is a deathmatch type of map with a little twist to it. You will spawn as a random character on this map, with a higher chance of becoming the lower class characters than the high class $1000 characters. The map is based around Christmas, Snow and Trees scenery. Domination The purpose of this map is not to braindead-kill-and-shoot like most Deathmatch maps. On this map there is five "Control Points". When your team repairs a Control Point your team gets 1 Capture Point per second per Control Point. When the target of 4000 Capture Points has been reached your team will win. Creator Information The map was created by Mauler from the TCW Dev Team originally for Tiberium Crystal War and now ported to Renegade. Special Notes The map uses custom written scripts by zunnie for the Domination Style which are unavailable in the TT 4.0 RC1 scripts. The latest TT 4.0 RC2 now contains the scripts used for this level, ENJOY!
  13. In the month February 2013 we will be battling for the Ultimate Collection from Electronic Arts with all the up2date Command & Conquer Titles available today. You must be ranked 1st on our Renegade Snipers 4.0 server. This prize works different from the usual prizes: The Ultimate Collection is activated on EA's Origin by entering a Serial Code after which you will be able to download every CNC Title. In this particular case an EA Origin account is required to redeem your prize. Like with Steam, an Origin account is free of charge. ------------------ ------------------ Every month the player ranked 1st on our NewMaps 4.0 Ranking will receive a cool game on Steam. The player Baddog13 has won last month's prize Deus Ex Human Revolution. He was ranked first at the end of January as seen on the Ranks for January 2013. For February 2013 we choose the game Ice Age 4 to battle for. Being ranked 1st on our NewMaps 4.0 serverranks at the end of Feberuary 2013 you will win this game on Steam if you meet the requirements.

The custom shader hud in action Alright guys i have now finished testing and editing the custom 4.0 hud that uses the stock renegade hud, you can now fully customize the colors of the text, images and the whole hud a bit easier now... i really wanted to make a custom hud but I didn't want to use anyone else's hud as a base, so i recreated the renegade hud to learn how to use the new and edit the hud.ini file that is included in 4.0 The reason i did this is to provide a base 4.0 shader hud that is easier to modify and create your own designs, and add color where you could not add before with the texture hud_main.dds Changes made The health bar displays health level in color form, could not find a way of add it without errors/ or not displaying colors properly The selected weapon text is now been moved to the middle, aligned it with the credit, time text info Disabled vehicle steering image and gunner images... could not find a way of add it without errors so without further interruption i present the download link enjoy! Please run your UAC Launcher.exe in your Renegade folder if you have not already done so: It will update your client to 4.0 RC2 This update is mandatory for everyone or you cannot connect to the server. If you have no clue what i am talking about: 4.0 is an update for the Renegade Engine and it can be downloaded on their official website at http://www.tiberiantechnologies.org Have fun!
  16. I am going to update the server now and install a couple of new maps, the tag system Mauler and me have been working on and a bunch of code fixes. This is a major upgrade and it might take me a little while to complete, think <60 minutes. New maps that will be installed: C&C_Deth_River C&C_Godwana C&C_Riverfalls C&C_Silent_Dawn C&C_Urban_Rush_b2 The server will be offline during the update. Server has been updated and is ONLINE again
  17. C&C_Deth_River This map was created years ago by a guy called DethGogse from the MoonLightShakers website/clan DaDeth. Back in the days we used to play some new maps on their 32 player server hosted from a university connection by DethRoses if i remember correct. Good ol' days man :'( The Design The map is designed in such a way that you can get into each others base through the tunnels and main roads. There are bigass tunnels too and a nice river running through. Weapons are also spawning. Keep an eye on your Refinery because it can be accessed by the enemy without defenses spotting them. When? Somewhere around this upcoming weekend we will see this map appear on the server. zunnie and Mauler are still first working on and finishing the tagging system which will be introduced by then probably too.   20. hi, ive been setting up a new server last night and i'm just about to run brenbot.exe and everything seems to be ok except for one thing it says the ssgm log server on 127.0.0.1 : 4848 has failed and will retry in one minute. i do not know what the problem is but some help would be greatly appreciated thank you

    General Map Information Node_War is a Infantry only type of map with a little twist to it. You will spawn as a random character on this map, with a higher chance of becoming the lower class characters than the high class $1000 characters. There is one Humm-Vee and one Buggy on this map for easy transportation. Domination The purpose of this map is not to braindead-kill-and-shoot like most Infantry maps. On this map there are "Control Points". When your team repairs a Control Point your team gets 1 Capture Point per second per Control Point. When the target of 5000 Capture Points has been reached your team will win. Buildings Note that although this map is Infantry only and Domination you can STILL destroy buildings here! The only advantages of having your buildings alive is that you get a steady money-flow and can change characters at will in your base instead of being stuck with the one you spawn with. There is a 'fake' Power Plant on the map, this to prevent the game from ending when both your Infantry Building and Refinery are destroyed, so to win your team must still reach the target capture points of 5000. Thanks Thanks goes out to Mauler from the TCW Dev Team for the Domination Control Points and their textures. ================= Create your own Domination map There are only 5 scripts required on your map for domination to work. z_hon_randomchar : Changes players characters when they spawn to a random character z_hon_dom_control : Sets the required amount of Capture Points. z_hon_dom_pointgen : This script makes sure that captured points generate points for the teams z_hon_dom_node : Sets the name of the control point and makes it behave like one. JFW_Change_Spawn_Character : This is needed to change the spawncharacter of players. How is it set up? 1) First you create two temped presets for the GDI and NOD Minigunners and you must call them "GDI_Spawn" and "NOD_Spawn". Then on the scripts tab you put the script "z_hon_randomchar" and that's it. 2) Create a Daves_Arrow on your map and attach the script "JFW_Change_Spawn_Character" on it twice, one set with Player_Type 0 & NOD_Spawn as Character. And one set with Player_Type 1 and Character set to GDI_Spawn. 3) Create another Daves_Arrow and put the script "z_hon_dom_control" on it with Points_Max set to the number of Capture Points required to win the game. 4) Create a new strings category using tdbedit.exe into strings.tdb You can find this file in your leveledit mod folder in ALWAYS\TranslationDB 5) In Leveledit goto Strings->Edit Table and scroll to the right and select the category you added in step 4. There double click on an empty line to add a new string translation. Here you can now give your first Control Point its name. Code ID: IDS_DOM_North with String: North Control Point 6) Now temp the preset under Object->Simple->Simple_DSAPO_Versions->Simple_MiniConsole and name it Dom_North_Point and set its translated preset name to your IDS_DOM_North Set the Physics Models to dom_node.w3d(big version) or dom_node_s.w3d(small version). Its Health should be 2 and MaxHealth like 300 and CNCMCTSkin as its skintype. 7) "Make" the control point on your map and position it. Now save your level "AS" C&C_Mymap.lvl and create a mix file using XCC mixer. Also include a strings.tdb which you RENAME TO strings_map.tdb. Then you *should* be able to capture the CP and gain points. The scripts will automatically spam the players a bit every minute or so with what the current score it at.

This is to fix the Mammoth Tank purchases at the Weapons Factory which i discovered was bugged. Do not use the file on your client as 4.0 servers will block your connection then.
