A few windows updates are now being installed. After that is completed i will have to reboot the serverpc, downtime of about 5-10 minutes.

Server is back online, the motherboard was replaced with a new one. We'll be monitoring the performance for a while.

The serverbox is still not operating the way we want it to. The performance is lower on this "better" hardware than on the old serverbox we used to have. They are taking another look at the hardware and replacing things where needed to try solve the issues. Serverbox will be down for up to 2 hours or so. We *might* have to do an OS Reload later on today which means reinstalling everything from scratch. That will increase the downtime up to a day.

Server is back online. Eventhough they couldn't really find anything they still replaced some hardware like the RAM, Powersupply and Cables to make sure those were not at fault.

The serverpc will go down for about 3-5 hours tops today. This to perform some diagnostics on the hardware as we are experiencing random server reboots and lower performance than we expected for the hardware we have in there. If something appears to be wrong we might have to switch our stuff over to a new serverpc which means we have to reinstall everything... and this obviously extends the downtime up to a day further.

Our downloads area just reached a staggering over 50.000 downloads. Very nice to see the download area is really used a lot by the community. PS: Feel free to submit your own files, skins, sounds, maps, etc. Thanks!

Also, it seems to work when you visit the http://www.ultraaow.com/ranks/NewMaps/ page directly, select a sorting option, then sort. If you sort after that first sort, it seems to break. Reloading the original page http://www.ultraaow.com/ranks/NewMaps/ again, and then selecting a different sort, it works again

It's broken i think, i'm using an alternative method to get the results i need currently, not sure when it will be fixed :|

Looks like the GSA server is down now :'( RIP Only a few servers (including ours) are available on RenList right now. I guess many server owners did not bother to update yet. Stupid :/

Would you people have interest in a custom scripts.dll containing our scripts code? With this you could use our scripts to setup maps with special functions such as the helipads, repairpads and stuff. We could also write scripts for your map specifically. Downside to this is that your map will only work properly on our server and not any others because the code isnt public. Yes/No ? I'm still pondering if we have a big enough mapping community or not to do this and support it.

Our TS3 License is about to expire the 17th of July. We applied for an extension and are awaiting TS3's response. Because of this Mike and me will be performing a complete clean re-install of the Teamspeak 3 server tonight @ around 8PM Dutch time which is 7-8 hours from now. The TS3 server will be offline for an hour up to two hours during this process. Also note that when the server comes back online everyone will have to receive their usergroups again which will have to be set by Mike or Me. Once our Admins received their Server Admin status they can probably set your usergroups too.

This is just a reminder to everyone that GameSpy is about to shutdown their services. Many multiplayer games suffer from this including Renegade. For Renegade specifically it only means that you must update your RenList to the latest 1.0.7 version or you will not be able to retrieve a serverlist and join us. Note: This only applies if you join servers using the GSA feature from RenList, if you have an XWIS account there is nothing you need to do. Thanks for joining us.
