We've added roszek's (former MPF Administrator) map to the server tonight. It has all cool vehicles from C&C 4 working in Renegade. The map uses the sidebar with beacon purchases available. Below is what roszek says about this map: This is a custom map created by me with help from Mauler. All the Renegade vehicles have been replaced with C&C4 vehicles. There is also a working Chronoshpere for GDI, and Nod has a mutant lab which allows Nod to buy Mutant soldiers even if the hon is dead. This map uses custom crates (instead of the reborn ones) which are dropped of by cargo plane. For this map to work properly you need to install the included scripts and ssgm plugin to your server. The sidebar.dll (created mostly by zunnie) puts beacons on the sidebar. Again, thanks to Matt Fabian for his great waterfall. Some Screenshots: Have fun

Just a quick update, that !rate is now gone! Instead I have created a !like & !dislike system after r3surr3Ktx bugged the piss out of me. Right after I created our !rate system, I thought about using a like and dislike system. I just never got around to it.. I saw sla|ro had it in his mutants server a few months ago and liked how he did it. Any Suggestions feel free to let me know!

I've adjusted the donators plugin for NewMaps a bit. There is now a command to display your total donation amount: !mydonate When the donator has joined it will display how much they donated: Host: [DONATOR] MPFzunnie has donated $1337 to MPF. Thanks a lot MPFzunnie! The donator also has a command they can use to lookup what they donated, !mydonate, it displays this: Host: [DONATOR] You have donated $1337 to MPF. Thanks a lot MPFzunnie! If someone who did not donate executes the command it says this: Host: [DONATOR] You have not yet donated to MPF, MPFzunnie! If you did then please contact an Admin. We've promoted r3surr3Ktx to a Renegade Server Admin and he has access to our server to restart it and stuff in case of a crash. This nab has been very helpful with us primarily with the download section, selecting new maps for the server rotation and general testing. After months of respectful activity around here we decided to promote him to a Renegade Server Admin so he can perform additional tasks in the game and the forums. His primary usergroup is still Download Manager though but he is ALSO a Renegade Server Admin. Any issues with regards of downloads or the renegade server may be directed to him as well Congrats man.

Tonight there will be a second NewMaps server online with the joinpassword "newmaps". It is a clone of the primary NewMaps server. Why we do this? So we can install a couple of new (old?) maps and test them out for our rotation. The maps will NOT be available through the downloader on this test server so you must have the .mix files in your Data folder. Most .mix files can be installed by using our UberMapPack 2015. If you want to help us test the maps and give your honest opinion about them before we add them into rotation you are free to join us in this server Note: In the end it is up to Kickmofo, FeaR and me what maps will be in rotation. If people really really don't like a certain map they can always !skip vote it. Thanks for joining and helping decide! UltraAOW.com Marathon MPF has been working on a new server for you all to enjoy: A Marathon server!! It is listed on XWIS/WOL as UltraWAR and on RenList of course too. Go on and favorite it It will be set without a Timelimit (Marathon) and have the Westwood (modified) maps in rotation. There is also a new custom veterancy in this server which will be explained in this post. IRC Channel The irc channel can be found at irc.cncirc.net #MPF-Marathon. Veterancy Information To lookup your veterancy please type !vet or if you have our keys config file you can press the HOME key to quickly look it up. On the Marathon server you will LOSE some veterancy points when you die, a penalty, the amount of points you lose depend on the character you are. The silver star models were created by our ImperialKaskins also known as IK Here some screenshots of them: Right now - it will be expanded on later - veterancy levels increase your health and armor a little bit and you unlock commands such as !turret, !cannon, !guntower and !samsite to build those objects. The cannons when exited will be taken over by AI and fire at enemies until someone enters it again. You can also upgrade any vehicle you enter once when you level up with your veterancy and grant it 10hp/ap extra. Alternative Vehicle and Character Skins There are several series of Skins available for various units in Marathon. You can get cool looking Mammoth Tanks with a CnC3 type skin or a nice leather/crodocile look. For nod there are also special Bright vehicle skins which look really good. Check out the Sexy Sakura and Hotwire too! Created originally by Mauler. Some screenshots below: Vehicle Skins: Rotating MRLS is in Stock The second MRLS on the Purchase Menu, the Crocodile camo version, is able to rotate its turret around. Some people will like this as they can then fire behind their MRLS and stuff. Quake Sounds There are various new Quake Sounds available in Marathon including the Headshot sound and Vehicular Manslaughter when you run people over. Numerous special Quake Sounds are also heared when you double kill, triple kill, and kill more for other sounds. A simple Humiliation sound is there for when you get owned by the Harvester. We've put up a new download for our Mappack and Keys Configuration file. The mappack v.27 is now once again fully updated to our server content. The keys config contains a new entry for Chinook Vehicle Transport abilities which will be used on Imperial Age maps in the near future. Imperial Age v1.12 D2 Released Our Team has finished the new client version 1.12 D2 just now. All content is currently active on the server which include several code bugfixes and additions, texture glitch fixes and some object fixes. The game is now running on the TT 4.2 RC1 code which opens options for mappers as well as fixes for several bugs. New interiors for most buildings with Special Lightmapping applied by dblaney1. So i have been adding some vehicle variation for Donators You can now switch the looks of your vehicle (not all of them though) when on NewMaps. I added the skins for Nod vehicles from ArtyWhore/orca234's CNC95 camo pack: I added a couple of other skins for Nod for the Buggy(StickMan9000), Arty(GRIMMNL), Flamer(Dreganius) and Stank(Dreganius): I added "only" 2 skins for GDI as i didn't find many nice ones, for now they are the Medtank(Karandras) and Mammoth(C4Kitty): To use the command you type: !nodcamo - to apply the CNC95 Camo Skins from ArtyWhore/orca234. !skinnod - to apply the various nod skins !skingdi - to apply the medtank or mammy skins
