Do any of you have the old servers we used to run back in FM days? Like the ones that preceeded OmegaAOW, the oldies that pretty much made z famous. I know one was the FM CrazyCTF by Jessica, but I can't even remember the name of the one that had the agt/obi guns when we merged with DT. 
 
It'd be nice to be able to do the oldy servers in tribute as well, I have a copy of that omega one.

RIP Zunnie.

This is the darkest day in Renegade history.  The game would not be where it is today without this man.  I still can't believe this, so many countless hours modding and dreaming of new map ideas and pushing the w3d engine to its limits. 
 
Zunnie... I don't know what to say man...  this is insane.

Wow.. I’ve known zunnie for over 10+ years. Great guy who loved to chat, code, and play games! I will miss him dearly.
 
My condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.

zunnie is the man who brought me on board back in the FanMaps site days and the first MP sites. we use to stay up all night and day on TeamSpeak drinking coffee and modding & Mapping Renegade, counter strike unreal and so on. Zunnie you have changed a lot of life's and made some dam good friends. and will be Missed by all.

In my Halloween map, I made a banner dedicated to zunnie. I have one ready for my next map (snow themed, have to find the file too), and I'm trying to get one for Iron City currently, which I think today I finally thought of a good one. Next time my C&C Halloween 2014 map comes up, be sure to check out this banner! RIP man!

Jan you were like family to me I will miss you.

This is devastating news.. As a former MPF admin and developer I spent a lot of time with zunnie. This community was all spurred by him, MPF would not exist in it's current state if not for him. Even if I've had issues in the past here causing me to depart this place, it all doesn't even matter with my best friend Jan passing. 
 
Even though we never met in real life we spent countless sleepless hours developing some stuff for Renegade and various other games over the 7 years i knew him.... Countless hours talking over TeamSpeak, countless hours getting frustrated cause we couldn't get something to work only to find out that it was something so simple we overlooked.... as I write this I am in tears... I have so many good memories with Jan and it breaks my damn heart to hear this news... I will always cherish the time we had together my friend and I really hope you are at peace

If not, I'd say swap it out with ArcticXP_Beta, or a different map altogether. 
 
Anyone familiar with the map, Ravine? Overlook? Frag City? 
 
There are a lot of good maps out there, that most people have forgotten about by now.

It's like ghostbusters 2 FAILED

We have recently made some changes to our administrative structure. Kickmofohas informed us that he would like to step down in order to be able to devote more time to his personal life. This something most of us can understand very well. Moderating for a server and especially being the leader is like having another job expect that it is unpaid. There is a lot of work that goes into it and most of it is unseen in the background. While we regret to see him go we understand that real life must always come first. Kick has done a lot of great things for furthering and advancing our Renegade Server. He will remain an admin in our community but will no longer be the leader of the Renegade Division.
 
Taking Kick's place as the leader will be r3surr3Ktx. He has really grown in our community and made it his home. He has taken up many projects that no one else wanted to and has put in a huge amount of work into both our Renegade server and community as a whole. r3 plays renegade frequently, has built rapport with the players and is willing to speak his mind and bring new ideas to the table. He has done a great job and proved himself a reliable and dedicated contributor to our community. We cannot think of a better person to lead our Renegade section.
 
Please join us in thanking Kick for the great work he has done and congratulating r3 on his new position.

R.I.P. Slowburn!

It is with great regret that i have to tell you that SlowBurno has sadly passed away at the age of 57 after not recovering from an operation he had on 30.04.2016.
For those who knew him he was not really a forum person but spent a lot of time with us on TS (Team speak) and made a lot of friends here.
If you can all join me in sharing your respects for him.
 
I want to arrange some sort of memorial games for him so we can all get together and have a bit of fun and show our respects for him and his family. I will speak to the other staff and update this as soon as we have discussed it. (maybe a player line and a mass beacon detonation etc). I have also created a new channel on TS ("SlowBurn0 Memorial - 1959-2016") for us to join when this happens.
 
Sad times thoughts are with his family and friends.

You might have noticed the forum-creep we had here where the forums just got bloated with too many subforums.
 
I have gone through the forums this morning and, with staff blessing, cleaned up this bloat/creep. There is still a little bit of work left to do regarding adding tags to topics before they get moved to their new homes.
 
Here is a summary of what we agreed upon for the public forums:

As you can see, we've consolidated all of the support forums and ban/mute dispute forums into a single area. Donators will see their forum has been moved to a lower area outside of the public forums. The 'Other Games' section will be tagged with their respective games before being moved into a singlular category.
