Check you video settings in the ingame options menu your contrast setting is definitely turned up. It actually doesn't show up in the screenshots.

His addon graphics card died and hes using the onboard VIA graphics processor that hasn't had drivers released in like 6-8 years. Its infamous for not working with a lot of games and random crashes. Most likely a certain shader is used on those maps.

It should auto update you to 4.2 but if it doesn't you must download it. In a few days we will be making it mandatory to join the server. Imperials maps will soon be using features that require 4.2 to function.

What game is this for. It doesn't say in the title or the post. CS:GO? Edit: Nevermind the tags have CS:GO in them. You should add it to the title.

All of these should be like an hour long event rather than a whole weekend. They just don't make sense for a whole weekend. I would either do an IK weekend or no weekend at all.

Can anyone let me know if this has happened in the last few days. I tried some stuff to debug this issue, but its difficult to tell if its actually fixed without let the server run.

I just committed a code fix for this. Next time the server restarts it should be fixed.

right click your renegade shortcut and enable run as administrator.

The anticheat issue should be fixed. The switching server and maps thing is finally fixed in 4.2 as well. Hopefully the 4.2 release is soon.

Install scripts 4.1 from tiberian technologies. This will fix your issue. Once you have this done you don't need to run the game with any special compatibility mode. http://www.tiberiantechnologies.org/files/tt-scripts-4.1.exe

Are you still having this issue? Have you tried contacting your isp. It sounds like your isp is having trouble with connections to the area the server is in. You said you can't connect to jelly either which is also located in Canada. I hate issue like this as they are difficult to figure out whats not working.

Please put the renegade obelisk sound in and not the tiberian dawn one. The tiberian dawn one is all one tone so it gets incredibly annoying after a while. The renegade obelisk sound is much cooler anyway. Also, I would like to see the original beacon logic put in place. I don't like where you can't disarm the beacon after a certain amount of time. I love those moments where you are trying to the last second to disarm a beacon even if it means you may lose your character.

BTW, theres huge improvements in fps and latency on these maps. Riverofhope went from using over 200-300kbps to under 100kbps.

Orca Height is pretty much perfect for snipers.

All of that is fixed in g10.

I switched it back to xwis mode so hopefully its ok now. Otherwise I will switch it back to gsa only.

I will look into it. However, I strongly recommend looking into using dragonade as it offers this feature built in and a ton of other great features and enhancements.

I guess you are forgetting about the ezekiel's wheel steath tank which can kill a mammy if you sneak up behind it and use the alternate fire. Without stealth you would get blown to pieces. Same goes for the regular stealth tanks in the stock maps. They most definitely rely on their stealth as one of their strengths.
