  2. Battleground Cologne

    Looks good, plays average.
    While it is always nice to have sensible asymmetrical maps, in this case, the fact that the map is not even has been emphasised.
    For example only 1 side (left) has easy access to the lone tech EMP structure.
    Also the placement of the tech expansion that each side gets is silly.
    The left team has their tech expansion near the bridge (potentially useful for defending the only ground access point), while the right side has their tech expansion near their starting tiberium field (presumably because they cannot get there first tiberium refinery very close the field without capturing the expansion point first).
    So basically the right side is at a large disadvantage.
    The other issue is that is possible for the green tiberium on the right side to grow in areas that the AI harvesters will not harvest (classic CnC3 bug), but that a player can manually target.
    This is a further problem for the player (or AI) that starts on the right.
    However I will definitely award an additional point because crates can be enabled on this map, too many map makers do not bother with this standard feature.

    An Town in a Blue Zone with a beach to the left.
    It has four starting points, two at the top and two at the bottom.
    The Town is in between and the top and bottom starting areas.
    The town is divided from the north two and south two starting points
    by canals each having two bridges crossing them.

  6. Blank Purchase Terminal Icons

    Laeubi: These Blank PT icons were created by Taximes (as far as i know, I havent seen him lately)
    The 6 PT icons include the standard GDI and Nod icons and a Civilian, Mutant, Xtras and a blank gray one.
    I've uploaded them here as i think i'm one of the few active members of the community that has them (and has found them on his HDD ).

  7. Blazea58 Pine Trees

    I've been trying to put together a collection of pine trees for the last few months, for some alpine maps I was working on.
    Figured it would be a good idea to release a pack so people can start adding them to maps they are making, or even revive some old maps by adding them to it.
    Polygon counts are all different ranging from 185-2200. The tallest and bushiest ones are to be used sparsely since they are 2k polygons each.

  9. Blue Desert TW

    This is an all blue tiberium map, I.e. another spam map.
    This map is set up in a way that it can be played boy free-for-all, or 2v2.
    Each side has a large starting blue field, there are a couple of smaller blue expansion fields (with quick regrowth) which depending on whether the 2v2 is top vs bottom or left vs right, will decide whether these are contested or not.
    The main feature, seen in the above image, is the massive central blue tiberium field. A team based match will see players wanting to secure this area has soon has possible, and this area will almost certainly see most of the fighting.
    Each side has 2 uncontested tiberium spikes, and there are a large number of tech gun platforms, but the issue here is that the shear volume of units that can be built due to having a large starting blue field, means that these tech gun platforms will do next to nothing.
    In terms of the look of the map, I really do not like the lighting at all, it is at odds with the desert style texturing.
    This is my only visual complaint.
    As usual crates cannot be used on this map.

  10. Blue Tiburbia

    Here is a Medium 2v2 map for all to enjoy (400x500).
    Has a center deviding river with a small city to defend or take depending on which side your on.
    2 blue tiberium areas in the city to fight over plus a large open base area to build full bases w/ defenses.
    A decent amount of tiberium and a few spikes make for good battles.
    Set up for team play but AI battles also possible.

    The once blue zone city Buenos Aires has been infested by tiberium. A battle between NOD and GDI left as result a devastated area. At the end of the battle, NOD tested its new tiberium vein detonation super weapon, which leaves the city in ruins.

    This was always in the earlier versions of SSGM before 4.0, but it didn't work correctly because of incorrect IF statements in the code. This plugin will enable the extra building report sounds that EVA says such as "Structure health under 50 percent" and also "Warning - %buildingname destruction imminent". It will also report to the SSGM Log Messages prefixed with _BUILDING and state when a building is under attack like the early SSGM.

  18. Bulgaria

    Theme: Yellow Zone, temperate/forest
    This is a 2 player (1vs1) map based on level 12 from the
    C&C95 GDI campaign.
    This map is set in Bulgaria where the original took place,
    in a borderline Yellow Zone.
    This is an asymmetrical map with either side starting in
    opposing corner, each side has similar amounts
    of tiberium surrounding their bases.
    Each side also has access to their own blue tiberium fields
    and tiberium spikes by way of outposts, but are vulnerable to
    attack and seperation from their bases by the attacking force.
    There is also an EMP tower and Defense Tower on the west
    side that can only be taken over with air support.

  19. Burning Anger

    This is a highly detailed 8 player map.
    It is somewhat assymetrical in that each base has a
    different layout,
    yet a diagonal river divides teams into an "L" shape.
    The bottom bases are divided by cliffs and generally are less accessable.
    The top bases are divided by tiberium chasms of various shapes.
    I tried to make it so each player has access to an equal
    and sufficient amount of resources.

    The setting are (is? dont know, i'm german, both sounds strange to me ^^)
    the outskirts of an australian metropolis at dusk.
    It features parts of the city as well as some forest- and desert-areas.
    It is meant for 3v3 Teamdeathmatch games, might be slightly unbalanced
    for FFA games. Works well for comp stomps.
    NOTE:
    To make a long story short: I do only have 1 Gigabyte of RAM, an
    athlon3500+ and a relatively weak graphics card, so creating such a
    big map was a pain in the ass for me.
    I just had to get rid of this (map-) monster, if you know what i mean...
    So.. it is definately not as detailed as my previous maps, and definately
    my last map thats that large.
    I hope you like it nevertheless.

  23. C&C_Bridge_Control

    General Map Information
    Bridge_Control is based on the other Bridge_Control map from Tiberium Crystal War.
    It is a fast action paced map with only two buildings per team:
    GDI: Weapons Factory and Infantry Barracks
    Nod: Airstrip and Hand of Nod
    There are also Tiberium Silo's providing the teams with money, 2 on each team giving each $5/3sec. Beware that one of your silo's is very vulnerable in the middle area and is likely destroyed at the start of the map.
    Don't worry though, you have another one behind your Infantry Building, and on top of that you can repair the silo's back to full health after which they become operational again.
    The Tiberium Silo's do not have to be destroyed to end the game, so it never ends in a stalemate Silo vs Silo
    The ruined buildings were created by Hunter-Seeker and weapons spawn inside it!
    The crane was created by ImperialKaskins. You can climb all the way to the top and get the sniperrifle that spawns there
    The appartment buildings at the side of the map were also created by ImperialKaskins and are a nice decorative touch.
    The trees on the map were designed by Blazea58

    General Map Information
    Clan420z is a typical deathmatch map with only a Barracks and Hand of Nod present which players have to destroy to win the game.
    There are also Refineries but they cannot be killed and are only present to provide some money income of $2/sec.
    I only fixed this map to work with TT 4.0 properly as the game would not end when either the Barracks or Hand of Nod was destroyed.
    In this fixed "z" version it does end the game as soon as either the Barracks or Hand of Nod is destroyed.
    LMAO at the bunker where Nod is growing weed lol. Great map, ++ to the creator. Oh yeah, the Pickup Trucks can hold 5 people
